  4. Wonderful post! Aren’t dogs great?! I agree with you, they are our best friend, family, confidant, therapist, workout buddy and wingman :) We can learn so much from them if we are only willing to listen. (FYI: I am sure you know this, but your baby is very cute :) )

  8. We soon have to put our dog down, and I recently blogged about The Long Goodbye. (not meaning to be a downer…) Everything you have said is beautiful, and so true. One can’t fathom that one day it has to end. But having dealt with The Long Goodbye (in which a family endures a whole ordeal of full bore denial and stress before finally coming to terms with the decision to relieve an animal of suffering) I remember all the amazing things a dog can offer: so spiritual, so innocent, so beautiful.
